As work progresses on the Disney Vacation Club wing at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, new pool elements are beginning to take shape.

Based upon recent images, it is now clear that the new splash pad is being themed with elements from the Disney animated film Alice in Wonderland. Note the Mad Hatter's chapeau will serve as a spill bucket, dousing little guests at regular intervals. Beside it are a teapot and several cups & saucers which suggest a cascading fountain element.

The Disney Vacation Club villas at the Grand Floridian are scheduled to open in late 2013.
