New Activities Set for Many DVC Resorts

Disney's Riviera Resort

This spring, a variety of new guest activites at Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort and other Disney Vacation Club destinations. 

Beach Club Marina

Exclusive to Riviera is The Chocolate Workshop Presented by The Ganachery. Hosted by a Chef Chocolatier from the Disney Springs specialty shop, the class will demonstrate how ganache is made and allow guests to make their own chocolate pop. Classes are priced at $60 per person plus tax, and will be held Sundays at 11am beginning in March. 

Mermaid School returns on March 1st, providing guests age 4+ with the opportunity to swim with a tail just like Ariel. Classes are planned for the Beach Club and Polynesian, as well as Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's All Star Music Resort. Classes are $55 per person plus tax. 



The popular Fun Runs will expand to nine resorts including five DVC properties. Guests at Riviera, Beach Club, Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney's Old Key West Resort can enjoy these family-friendly courses which are under 2 miles in length. The Runs are also offered at Caribbean Beach, All-Stars, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter

Priced at $15 per person, the runs include a custom bib, finisher's prize and snacks. Guests under 2 are free and strollers are permitted. 

Captain Hook's Pirate Adventure returns to the Beach Club with a Passolder discount through May 31. Kids age 4-12 will search for treasure around Crescent Lake, followed by a group dinner. The event is priced at $55 per child. The 10% Annual Passholder discount applies through the end of May, while Disney Vacation Club members also save 10% with no posted end date.

Finally, those who wish to make their way over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground can make their own wooden sign during a 2-hour board-and-brush workshop at Crockett's Craft Corner. Light food and beverages are included. The activity is planned for Wednesday afternoons at Trail's End Restaurant. The price is $75 per person.
