As a precursor to the interior refurbishment of the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, the buildings' outdoor decks are currently being replaced.
Last month, Disney filed paperwork to commence renovations on the Disney Vacation Club Treehouse Villas. Listed simply as General Construction, crews are currently replacing the elevated outdoor deck attached to each unit. The photo above depicts a villa which has been updated. Each Treehouse has its own private deck which holds a table and several chairs.
It appears that just one Treehouse deck is being renovated at a time. Work involves the use of a variety of power tools, and may serve as a distraction to guests staying in the area. The permit listed 15 of the 60 Treehouses, and cited an expiration date of January 2, 2025.
In December, Disney Vacation Club revealed that the Treehouse Villas were scheduled for a refurbishment in 2025. Some of that interior work may begin in 2024, however exact timelines are currently unclear.
