The new year of direct sales for Disney Vacation Club resorts started off much like it ended in 2025, except for one resort which posted its best month ever.

Several large point deeds were sold in January.  Polynesian sold one 1,300-point deed, two 700-point deeds, and a 500-point deed. As the timeshare developer, Disney is obligated to retain at least two percent of the Riviera’s total points, leaving about 944,000 points it can sell to the general public.  At its current pace of sales, Riviera may be  completely sold out by the summer of 2027.  Much will depend on how many points Disney chooses to retain in excess of the two percent it is required to keep for itself.

Based on the Cabins’  total number of points and the number of cabins the resort will have when fully declared, each cabin has been allotted about 7,661 points.  Given the number of points sold so far, Disney has “sold” about 24.5 cabins worth of points.

The Orange County, California, Clerk Recorder is the source for public information about sales for the Disney Vacation Club resorts located at the Disneyland Resort.  Beginning in January 2025, its public website no longer displays the deed document tax amount for deeds recorded with the county.  Since the tax amount was the only way to infer the number of DVC points for each deed, it is no longer possible to estimate the number of points sold for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel or The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel timeshare.  Therefore, sales data for these resorts will no longer be included in the monthly sales report.

The sales data includes all 12 DVC resorts at Walt Disney World, as well as Disney's Vero Beach Resort, and Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort.  Point sales data is not available for The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel or The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. The data is compiled from deeds filed by Disney Vacation Development and recorded with the Orange County (FL) Comptroller, the Indian River County (FL) Clerk of Court, and the Beaufort County (SC) Register of Deeds.  Thanks to Chris and Dan for assisting in the compilation of the sales data.
