...Disney Vacation Club sent an email blast to current members reminding them that "time is running out" to purchase points at the Bay Lake Tower. According to DVC, Bay Lake Tower is expected to sell out in late summer. (FYI, the last day of summer is September 22, 2011.)
...with sales wrapping up at Bay Lake, DVC has discontinued the afternoon sales meetings previously held in the Top of the World Lounge.
...a new contstruction notice has been posted for work Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The contractor is listed as The Wilsten Group, Inc. Included among previous projects of The Wilsten Group is "Disney's Animal Kingdom Loege Resort Guestroom, Suite and Corridor Renovation." Sounds like Wilsten may be the firm who converted the Jambo House hotel rooms into DVC villas. Could they be poised for a similar conversion project at the Grand Floridian?

...the Disney Parks Blog has created a YouTube video featuring Aulani Chef Patrick Callarec preparing one of the resort's signature dishes: Tuna Poke Martini.
...the Downtown Disney shopping complexes at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World will be hosting special discount shopping events on July 23, 2011. Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders are eligible to attend.
