Yet another Disney Vacation Club resort will have a fresh look going into the new year.
No fewer than 5 DVC resorts will see changes to their in-room decor in 2023. The latest refurbishment to be dated will take place at Disney's Vero Beach Resort:
From October 2023 through January 2024, Guest rooms at Disney's Vero Beach Resort will undergo refurbishment.While you may see or hear construction during daytime hours—typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM—Disney Vacation Club Members and Guests will not be placed in or next to Guest rooms that are being refurbished.
This project is classified as a lighter soft goods refurbishment. Expect possible changes to flooring, wall coverings, linens and some decor. Disney Vacation Club has been adding the pull-down Murphy Beds in most villas during refurbishments. However, it remains to be seen if the popular sofa beds will make it to Vero Beach given the unique layout of these older villas.
Other refurbishments occurring in 2023 include Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge which wrapped up this past spring, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's BoardWalk Villas and Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort.
DVC had previously cited 2024 refurbishments for Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.
