The resort's feature pool and surrounding amenities will be closed for almost three months early in the new year.
From January 8 through late March 2024, the feature pool at Disney's Vero Beach Resort will be closed for renovations. Included in the closure are the Pirate's Plunge Pool Slide, Tiger Lily Wet Play Area, Port Holes Miniature Golf and the whirlpool spa. Guests may notice some disturbances during daytime hours as crews work to refurbish these amenities.
Disney's Vero Beach Resort features only the one swimming pool. No alternate amenity will be available, though direct access to the beach will be maintained.
This work comes on the heels of guest room renovations planned throughout the resort. From October 2023 until January 2024, all Disney Vacation Club villa rooms will be fully refurbished.
