The walking path which runs between Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is currently closed.
Due to ongoing construction on the new tower at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, the walkway connecting the Polynesian to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort has been closed.
The original walkway along the shore of Seven Seas Lagoon closed months ago when construction originally ramped-up. An alternate path was created running away from the shore along Floridian Way. That alternate route has recently closed with no posted reopening date.
While the walking path is unavailable, guests can use the Walt Disney World monorail system or watercraft to move among area resort hotels and the Magic Kingdom. Construction on the new Disney Vacation Club tower is expected to run into late 2024.
