Check out our latest update showcasing the Seven Seas Lagoon side of the newest Disney Vacation Club resort.
It's been a busy few weeks checking in on the new tower at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This time we'll examine the lagoon side.
The most visible signs of progress come in the form of additional painting on the westernmost segment of the tower. Back in December, this section was merely primed. Now there are extensive finishes of beige and brown paint.
Rooms in the middle section are all protected from the elements by windows and doors. The upper floor roof / pergola structure is now in place.
Down beneath this section, further progress is evident on the circular restaurant or bar planned for the building.
Nearest to the existing Polynesian buildings, the villas are all enclosed and some signs of painting are evident.
The resort's new pool will be added outside this section. However, few details can currently be discerned.
From the Polynesian Resort's boat dock, the new tower can be seen rising behind one of the existing buildings.
Back in January we examined the opposite side of the building facing the monorail, and later filmed some video riding on the Express Monorail. The new Polynesian tower is scheduled to open before the end of 2024.
