Disney Vacation Club's winter 2024 direct purchase incentives are not enough to blunt the effect of an $8-9 base price increase on its three actively-selling resorts.
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
The base price for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel has now risen from $230 to $239 per point. Even with incentives that are moderately better than the prior round, buyers will be left paying higher prices to purchase DVC points. At the 200 point level, first time buyers will pay a net price of $229 per point while existing members pay $226 each. These rates are up from the pricing which expired on January 29 with net rates of $223 and $218 respectively.

The same is generally true for Disney's Riviera Resort. With the base price having risen $8 each from $217 to $225, improved incentives still leave buyers paying more. Incentives are also more heavily weighted toward larger purchases, with higher discounts kicking in at 250 points for new owners and 200 for add-ons.

Similarly, incentives for Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas encourage new buys of 250 or more points, as well as add-ons of 150-200 or more. At the smaller point levels, buyers face a double whammy with the combination of a higher base and reduced incentives. Previously a current owner could add 100 points for about $208 each. Now the same number of points will cost $217 apiece.

DVC's Welcome Home offer remains available, reducing the total by a flat $1000 regardless of the number of points purchased if the buyer has a current or future Disney trip scheduled. Buyers can also forfeit their first year's points in exchange for a one-time $20pp discount under the Magical Beginnings program.
Incentives were previously offered for other resorts including Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. However those deals have now expired. Sales are set to begin for The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort on February 1st for current owners and February 27 for first time buyers. Point charts and other details have been released with pricing expected soon.
