Disney Vacation Club has yet to publish point charts, prices or on-sale dates for the new Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, but interested buyers can get a thorough look at the room interiors thanks to a virtual walkthrough.
Using the 3D rendering technology at the website Matterport.com, it is now possible to tour a Deluxe Studio, One Bedroom or Two Bedroom villa at the Polynesian's Island Tower. The website allows visitors to step throughout the room, scrolling in all directions to get a closer look at the layout, amenities and custom artwork of the new Disney Vacation Club villas. Spotlights throughout the rendering showcase some of the unique features like the pull-down convertible sofas, closet space and the in-room washer and dryer.
Individual room tours can be found at the links below:
Update: Matterport appears to have removed the virtual tours. We assume this is a temporary move, and they will be restored when DVC launches its marketing efforts for Island Tower. Keep checking the above links.
The Deluxe Studio room sleeps 4 guests with a queen size bed, queen size convertible sofa, kitchenette with dishwasher, and a bathroom. The One Bedroom villa sleeps 5 with a king bed master suite, queen sofa bed and a pull-down twin. The room includes a full kitchen, dining area, two bathrooms and clothes washer & dryer. Lastly, the Two Bedroom featured is a "lockoff" room which is a combination of the Deluxe Studio and One Bedroom units with the connecting door open.
Island Tower is set to open on December 17, 2024. The resort features more than 260 new villas, along with an open-air restaurant, new pool with Moana-themed splash pad, elevated garden lounges, fitness center and more.
