Refurbishment scrims have been lifted at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, allowing us to get our first look at renovations to the Disney Vacation Club building.
New hallway carpet is now visible in the renovated wings, sporting bright shades of red and green. Dark wood accents remain on the hallways, but portions of the walls between rooms have been painted white to contrast.
The first renovated rooms opened to guests today. Disney had previously shared images of the new design. Deluxe Studio, One Bedroom and Two Bedroom villas now have the pull down Murphy-style sofabeds.
Sleeping capacity of the villas has not changed. Studio rooms still have the under-TV sleeper which raised the room capacity to 5 guests. However, One Bedroom villas still only sleep 4 between the king size bed in the master and the queen size Murphy Bed in the living room.
